Easy Fireworks Craft for the Fourth of July
July 3, 2012 at 7:58 am | Posted in Children's Activities, Parties & Holidays | 7 CommentsTags: summer
This craft is super easy to set up, and my daughter absolutely loved it. We left the stamps out after breakfast this morning and will probably resume stamping and painting as soon as we get home from school and work today.
I started by cutting some circles out of cardboard and making small cuts around the edges.
Next, I threaded some yarn around the circles.
Then, we brushed the yarn with paint and started stamping.
We watched fireworks at the end of the concert in the park this weekend, so Jenna had a specific image in her mind of what she wanted her fireworks to look like. She elaborated on the stamping with a few brushstrokes here and there.
