We spent this Independence Day weekend driving across 4 states to attend a family reunion in Kentucky. It was a long trip, but we made lots of stops along the way. We saw the “Niagara Falls of the South” at Cumberland Falls State Park, rode in a trolley and a monorail, and watched the Memphis fireworks from our downtown hotel. It was an exhausting 4-day adventure, and when we got home, we let J+J try their first sparklers – yes, I know, it was still light out, but after 4 days on the road, we were ready for bed.
